Airport Police Station

The police station of Nea Anchialos National Airport has the necessary regular positions for police officers and is responsible for:

• prison cells within the airport
• the transportation of arrested passengers to the Magnesia Police Department for photograph and fingerprints taking
• the continuous training of employees with exercises for emergency cases.
• the safety of areas in and outside the airport
• the regular passport and luggage control, as well as the Lost Property Office

Airport Customs

The Customhouse is generally responsible for imposing and collecting customs duties and charges on goods, safeguarding the security of the supply chain of goods, prohibiting and restricting import, export and transit of certain goods and protecting consumers’ health and safety.
